10 years MRP - Interview Bart Meijer in Vastgoedjournaal

MRP is celebrating its tenth anniversary this autumn. How has founder Bart Meijer experienced the past decade? 'Development is not an easy profession, which is why you have to take as little risk as possible,' he says in an interview with Ariana Manduzai of Vastgoedjournaal.

Bart Meijer: 'After 2018 we did not buy any more projects, we are now looking around again' With caution, MRP is sailing through the current crisis. The last time MRP made an acquisition was in 2018 (AMST near Amstel Station in Amsterdam and WFC Amsterdam). Bart Meijer is consciously choosing this course. As a scion of a real estate family, Bart knows better than anyone how volatile the market is. 'We are now being rewarded for having bought very little. Colleagues have left us because they thought too little was happening, but I very consciously decided quite a long time ago not to take any more risk."
