Sotheby's Jewelry Valuation at the Mares The Hague at Sea stand opened with special 47 carat necklace from GASSAN Vintage Collection

In a unique collaboration between Netherlands Sotheby's International Realty and the Sotheby's Auction House, the Sotheby's Jewelry Valuation opened at MASTERS EXPO in the Mares Den Haag aan zee booth with the exclusive necklace, shown from the GASSAN Vintage Collection. This special moment was marked by the presence of team from Mares (developers MRP and VORM), Benno Leeser (CEO Gassan Diamonds), Yves Gijrath (CEO Masters Expo), Jim Reerink (CEO Netherlands Sotheby's International Realty) and Rudi van Wechem (Director Frisia Makelaars).

The highlight of the opening was the presentation of the unique 47-carat necklace from the 1950s, a striking masterpiece from the GASSAN Vintage Collection. Jemima Chamberlain-Adams (Sotheby's Jewelry Department) took the audience through a fascinating story about the history behind this stunning necklace from the 1950s, "It's an extremely rare piece and we are very privileged to see such an historical item here at the Mares booth in collaboration with Sotheby's and GASSAN".
