“Happiness is a combination of things”, Bart Meijer begins in response to the question of how MRP developments affect people's happiness. Bart Meijer, owner and CEO of MRP and Jozien Timmers, Head of Architecture at MRP share their insights on the theme of Happiness.

We don't start a project from scratch, but carefully think about the combination of functions and how we can create complete living and working environments to ensure that people function as a social community. This is how we do this in our projects at Osdorpplein in Amsterdam. We look at whether a school fits into the plan and whether there is room for a heathe center, a place to meet; we go back to the feeling of the classic 'village' of the past.
