First store in Amsterdam I MRP signs a contract with the German retailchain KiK

The German retail chain KiK has signed an agreement with MRP to open its first shop in Amsterdam in Stadscentrum Osdorpplein. The shop is approximately 610 sqm and will open its doors this summer. Colliers supervised the transaction and leases several shops in Stadscentrum Osdorpplein on behalf of MRP. KiK's shop is part of MRP's completed new-build project The Hub with 37 owner-occupied apartments, 40 rental apartments, for Woonzorg 16 new care homes with a communal area and courtyard garden, 3200 sqm of commercial units and the new City Counter with offices. KiK offers affordable fashion, homewares and decoration for the home. Since 2013, KiK has opened more than 40 shops in the Netherlands, including in Rotterdam, The Hague, Delft, Utrecht, Almere and Nijmegen, and soon in Amsterdam. Read more about KiK here.

MRP has also now started construction preparations for its next new-build project MIX Amsterdam in Stadscentrum Osdorpplein. The vibrant city centre in Amsterdam Nieuw-West at the Sloterplas lake is a colourful place in a watery and green environment, where people of all ages and cultures feel at home and can be themselves. The area is in full development and is fast becoming one of Amsterdam's most colourful hotspots. A modern centre with an Amsterdam feel and perfect accessibility is being built.
