Opening renewed Woonzorg Nederland at Osdorpplein in Amsterdam

The residents of Woonzorg Nederland festively opened the renovated Osdorpplein residential complex in the presence of Sandra Doevendans (Daily Board of the Municipality of Amsterdam Nieuw-West), Cees van Boven (Director of Woonzorg Nederland), Paul Trip and Annemieke Witteveen (MRP). The renovated residential social housing complex Osdorpplein now has 67 homes, 16 of which are new social rental homes, a communal courtyard, communal recreation room and a new entrance. The residents themselves were able to choose a historical photo of Osdorpplein for the entrance.

Renewed social rent residential Woonzorg Nederland festively opened

Residential complex Osdorpplein now contains 51 existing social rental homes with 2 rooms and 6 homes with 3 rooms. These homes are spread over 3 floors, all of which are accessible by elevator or stairs. There are apartments with an open and a closed kitchen and with a balcony. In the meantime, the 16 new social rental apartments have also been completed. These new apartments have all been made accessible for the disabled and an extra lift has been added. Annemieke Witteveen, project manager at MRP: “It is a special moment to festively open the new spaces with the residents after all the construction work. We hope that the residents will enjoy the shared recreation room and the courtyard garden. With the photo chosen by the residents of the former Osdorpplein, it is a pleasure to enter the new spaciou entrance.”
