Sales started on Wednesday, April 19 in the Nicoya sub-area with the first 8 town homes in Costa, 2 maisonettes in Coco and 52 apartments, including 4 penthouses in Cobana in Cartesius Utrecht. In the hall of the monumental CAB there was a unique information market for Cartesius residents and interested buyers in Nicoya. At the various stands there was information about Cartesius Utrecht and through the interactive VR tour people could experience living in Nicoya up close and gain inspiration for a sustainable and healthy lifestyle in Cartesius. There was also the option of using an electric walking bike to admire the CAB for the last time in its current state. The market also created room for innovation. A sustainable toilet without paper or the first fully circular kitchen? It was all there.

Information market for local residents around Cartesius and potential buyers of Nicoya

Cartesius, inspired by the scientific theory of the Blue Zones, will be a vibrant, sustainable and healthy new urban district in Utrecht. The information market, which was held in the monumental hall of the CAB, was therefore dominated by the Cartesius Concept with the 8 pillars: Software: exercise, meaning & relaxation, community, healthy food and Hardware: mobility, environment, circularity and nature and biodiversity. Visitors received information and inspiration about a healthy and sustainable lifestyle at the various stands. The Cartesius App has been launched to track the construction progress and activities of Cartesius. You can download the Cartesius App here or scan the QR code.
