Official start of the realization of 89 homes in ZUIDKADE - DE ZUID

The construction of ZUIDKADE has officially started at a unique location, right behind the dunes of the quiet Zuiderstrand of Scheveningen. MRP and building project developer VORM - together with the municipality of The Hague and the future residents - gave the festive go-ahead on Tuesday 17 January. The very energy-efficient ZUIDKADE project with 75 apartments and 14 townhouses is part of the DE ZUID area development on the former Norfolk site in Scheveningen Harbour.

The homes that will be realized in ZUIDKADE on Scheveningen's third inner harbor serve a diversity of target groups. From young families to empty nesters. Close to all amenities, nice restaurants and downtown. Paul Trip (MRP): “DE ZUID is an unique place, there are few large cities like The Hague that are located on the beach. The fact that we as MRP and VORM can realize homes so close to the beach makes this place really special. The location has both the tranquility of the dune area, the pleasant bustle of the area and a lively and varied living and working area in the Derde Haven.” Living in DE ZUID - ZUIDKADE means living on the "sunny side" of The Hague. Here is a place for everyone.
