Sustainable Shuttle Service PROVADA from WFC Amsterdam

Early this morning the first shuttle service departed from WFC Amsterdam. MRP, in collaboration with PROVADA and Hyundai Netherlands, is offering a sustainable shuttle service from WFC Amsterdam. The partners' initiative arose from the ambition to further encourage sustainable mobility and to provide alternatives to the expected parking crowds around PROVADA. Visitors to PROVADA can reserve a parking spot at WFC Amsterdam in advance via the RAI's website. In an electric IONIQ 5 or IONIQ 6, they will be driven to and from WFC Amsterdam between 6am and 9pm. The initiative fits perfectly with MRP's plans to transform WFC Amsterdam into an open and diverse multifunctional area where living, working, shopping, recreation and meeting increasingly converge and sustainable mobility is a matter of course.

MRP owns WFC Amsterdam and is fully engaged in the plans to transform the monofunctional building complex into a diverse, sustainable and vibrant place where living, working and facilities come together. As WFC Amsterdam has temporary overcapacity in its car park, it has been looking at opportunities to support PROVADA.

Bart Meijer, CEO MRP: "Sustainable mobility plays a central role in MRP's mixed-use area developments to promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. Last year, the Cartesius Utrecht consortium already gave an initial impetus to this with the global premiere of the first V2G IONIC 5 together with Hyundai Netherlands. The initiative with Hyundai and PROVADA for a sustainable shuttle service therefore fits in with our ambitions to transform WFC Amsterdam into a lively and connected hotspot at the Westas in Amsterdam. We are delighted that we have been able to organise this shuttle service together so quickly."

For those coming by car, you can use the parking and shuttle service at WFC Amsterdam. The free sustainable Hyundai shuttle service will provide transportation to RAI Amsterdam and back.
