I think it is very special that I can now participate in the further development of WFC Amsterdam and to turn it into a multifunctional and accessible location on the Westas. Innovative developments on the Westas
A large number of tenants have a new showroom in the WFC Fashion building and new tenants have been added. MRP Flex Offices has now been started in the former Fashion Garden, where companies can work corona-proof in a flexible way. TNW West, WELBO robotics, Jobsrepublic, consultancy SkaaL and the Style School by Danie have started here in recent months.

Robbert-Jan Bosch is de nieuwe commercieel directeur van WFC Amsterdam (World Fashion Centre). “Met ons familiebedrijf Eduard Bosch zijn we al meer dan 50 jaar onderdeel van WFC Amsterdam en de community. Toch was het voor mij tijd om een nieuwe stap te zetten. Ik vind het heel bijzonder dat ik nu mee mag werken aan de verdere ontwikkeling van WFC Amsterdam en om er een multifunctionele en toegankelijke locatie aan de Westas van te maken.’‘
En Robbert-Jan is bekend bij de meeste huurders en begrijpt de uitdagingen en het belang van innovatie. “Met zijn enthousiasme en drive past hij goed bij de richting die wij voor WFC Amsterdam voor ogen hebben’, aldus Bart Meijer (CEO MRP Development en eigenaar van WFC Amsterdam).
Van een gesloten gebouw tot een open en dynamische plek
MRP Development werkt sinds eind 2018 aan de herontwikkeling van WFC Amsterdam. Het aantrekken van nieuwe huurders en toevoegen van initiatieven op het gebied van technologie, innovatie, kunst & cultuur en flexwerkconcepten vormen onderdeel van de plannen. Of je er nu komt om te werken, te wonen, te studeren, elkaar te ontmoeten, te inspireren of gewoon een gezonde lunch of diner te nuttigen. Innovatieve ontwikkelingen aan de Westas
In het gebouw WFC Fashion heeft een groot aantal huurders een nieuwe showroom en zijn er nieuwe huurders bijgekomen. In de voormalige Fashion Garden is nu MRP Flex Offices gestart, waar bedrijven op een flexibele manier, corona-proof kunnen werken. TNW West, WELBO robotics, Jobsrepublic, adviesbureau SkaaL en de Style School by Danie zijn hier de afgelopen maanden gestart.
